Project First Light is all about bringing the magic of the cosmos to young learners. By providing schools with robotic personal telescopes, we empower children to explore the night sky right from their school grounds. These telescopes, driven by an intuitive phone app and AI technology, allow students to easily find and observe celestial objects, sparking curiosity and a love for astronomy. The goal of Project First Light is to make the wonders of the universe accessible to every child, inspiring the next generation of scientists, explorers, and dreamers.
Who’s Involved
We’re starting Project First Light by partnering with a select group of about ten schools. But this is just the beginning! Our Equipment
The Seestar S30 is a lightweight, all-in-one smart telescope that’s perfect for schools.
